I don’t know about you but my weekend has been fantastic! I was driving home and i heard “another brick in the wall” and completely flipped out coz i was thinking about the ensemble at the time and i would have turned the radio off but i couldn’t be bothered :P…

I was thinking about the Individuality Vs. Conformity side of things, and i first thought of Monty Pythons “Life of Brian”, where there is a scene where *I’m pretty sure this is how it goes - don’t hurt me if its wrong all you monty python lovers out there…I’m only a monty python lover wannabe…* Anywho - Brian tells the townspeople that they are all individuals and the townspeople repeat the same thing - “We are all individuals!” they exclaim… except one man who puts his hand up and states “I’m not.” This shows enormous irony in that the one person stating they are not individual is the individual for having a differing opinion to everyone else.

Well I liked that scene… thought i’d share it… Newho i’ll be off… G’nite and sleep well everybody! :)

Hey Y’all!
My first blog… doing well so far not being the most brilliant at the technological side of things… took me a total of 20 minutes to find this page (like i said - doing well!)
Today we learnt how to set up our pages in order to keep an online record (a blog if you will!) of our progress. I for one am excited! I can’t wait to share all the exciting and super crazy things I learn in drama!
I spose i should go into what we are actually doing in drama - straight up - two groups of four putting together an ensemble entitled “Another Brick in the wall” inspired by the song by Pink Floyd. This ensemble looks at what musical influences throughout history have helped to shape the world and music of today. It also looks at individualism Vs. conforty.
Well i guess that’s pretty much it. I should stop rambling now… so peace out!

Ash xo P.S. - looks for my encoded messages - i shall be making them frequent :P
