I don’t know about you but my weekend has been fantastic! I was driving home and i heard “another brick in the wall” and completely flipped out coz i was thinking about the ensemble at the time and i would have turned the radio off but i couldn’t be bothered :P…
I was thinking about the Individuality Vs. Conformity side of things, and i first thought of Monty Pythons “Life of Brian”, where there is a scene where *I’m pretty sure this is how it goes - don’t hurt me if its wrong all you monty python lovers out there…I’m only a monty python lover wannabe…* Anywho - Brian tells the townspeople that they are all individuals and the townspeople repeat the same thing - “We are all individuals!” they exclaim… except one man who puts his hand up and states “I’m not.” This shows enormous irony in that the one person stating they are not individual is the individual for having a differing opinion to everyone else.
Well I liked that scene… thought i’d share it… Newho i’ll be off… G’nite and sleep well everybody!
Ash xoxo
